The eyes of business are looking towards Warsaw in June_

Over 1,000 participants, 40 discussion panels, representatives of the most important brands from the technological sector - this is how one can briefly describe the ABSL Summit 2019 conference, which took place in Warsaw on June 12-13. The topics discussed during this event concerned the directions of business development and the challenges that face. Among the ABSL participants there were also SentiSquare representatives.

It seems that ABSL Summit is a fixture in the calendars of many technology enthusiasts. The conference is not only an opportunity to establish new business contacts, but also a chance to listen to speakers from around the world.

The future of the business services sector

Issues addressed in presentations and discussions during the first day of the conference concerned, among others, forecasts for the development of the fintech industry, showing the efficiency of enterprises managed by women, or debating the creation of job environments friendly to LGBT+ employees.

The most keenly awaited moment of the entire conference was the speech of the former President of the United States, Bill Clinton. He praised the Poland’s economic growth, emphasizing its beneficial influence on global business - The whole world admires you, we need you much more than ever before, said the president.

Second day dedicated to start-ups

On the second day, the final stage of the prestigious Start-Up Challenge competition took place, under which finalists - up-and-coming companies from the technology sector - presented their solutions. Awards in the competition were given by the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology Jadwiga Emilewicz.

On the same day, the discussion panel on cooperation between corporations and start-ups drew great interest, with representatives of e.g. PKN Orlen, Microsoft, and Linklaters taking part. The discussion highlighted the lack of flexible and innovative action in corporations, an issue often afflicting start-up companies.

SentiSquare selected for participation by infoShare

SentiSquare at the conference, was invited to participate by the organizers who noticed its innovation and promising perspectives.

We were very pleased with this distinction - recalls Stanislav Rejthar, CEO of SentiSquare. - ABSL Summit allowed us to look at Polish and foreign business from a broader perspective. We were surprised by the fact how many conference participants thought that the future of AI in the domestic business is promising. Not only representatives of the call center announced their readiness for new solutions, but we also heard it from representatives of Polish banks. We will certainly be happy to return next year.

It is worth noting that a month earlier SentiSquare received a special prize at the infoShare conference - EUR 10,000 for efficiency and dynamism in the company's development.
