Deloitte, a global advisory firm, has presented a ranking of the fifty fastest-growing companies in Central Europe. A full 60 percent of the companies in the list come from Poland and the Czech Republic. Deloitte also recognized SentiSquare, a Czech AI start-up focusing on text data processing, with a centrefold article in its dReport magazine.
The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Central Europe Ranking is a list of the fastest growing technology companies in the Central Europe region. This year's edition was dominated by software development companies.
This year, the first place in the "Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Central Europe" ranking went to the Lithuanian company Voltas IT - a producer of intelligent, wireless car diagnostic and control systems for drivers. In turn, the Polish company Warsaw Genomics was awarded as part of the Social Impact Award ranking.
A record number of companies - over 300 - competed for a place in the ranking this year. Most companies in the main category come from the Czech Republic (19) and Poland (11), making up 60 percent of places in the ranking. The third place went to Croatia, which is represented by six companies. The "Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Central Europe" ranking also includes companies from Lithuania (5; including the winner of the ranking), Hungary and Slovakia (3 each), Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria and Estonia (1 each).
In the centrefold of the dReport magazine, Deloitte recognized the Czech start-up for its unique approach to analyzing large amounts of unstructured text data.
Deloitte points out that artificial intelligence is becoming the number one topic in the business world. SentiSquare’s Natural Language Processing (NLP) AI is also introduced and shown as an instrumental tool for optimizing customer service processes. Without a thorough analysis of customer communications and a laser-focused customer experience operation, companies are doomed to be abandoned by their increasingly fickle customers. SentiSquare artificial intelligence systems come to the rescue.

SentiSquare is a technology company that deals with customer-generated text analysis. As one of the few companies uses artificial intelligence based on principles of distribution semantics, which provides many competitive advantages, such as language independence. The company was founded in 2014 as a spin-off by team of researchers at the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. SentiSquare currently supplies technology to the contact centers of large companies such as T-Mobile, E.ON or Albert.
